NASCAR Meets McQueen's Le Mans

"Close Calls" is the story of a duel between veteran Sprint Cup driver Brad Keselowski and rookie Nationwide driver Trevor Bayne. The spot takes us through an entire race, start to finish, from pre-race prep to the checkered flag. Along the way, cool nerves and battle-hardened experiences are tested by a rash and reckless Nationwide style.

Through expressive mixtures of CGI, collage, and hand animation, the films break down each of the cleats’ key materials, innovations, and prowess on the pitch.

The COPA film is anchored around the cleat’s unprecedented game control, through its construction and internal Sensepods and Touchpods. The PREDATOR film brings the cleat’s aggressive styling and dominant ball control to life, showcasing the Facet Frame, Facet Fit Collar, and Zone Skin. GrandArmy collaborated with the adidas football team throughout the spots' development, animation, and rollout.
