Photo Studio
In addition to our design and branding services we also offer a range of photography services, both on location and in our dedicated studio space. Below you’ll find a selection of the work of Jack Nesbitt, our in-house photographer. In order to provide our clients with the best possible solutions for their needs, the images range from straightforward product shots to custom-built sets, and everything in between. Please feel free to take a look, and reach out to us with any questions you may have.
Grandeur 4
Celebrating the spiritual battles of the creative process and the community it fosters, Grandeur 4 was the studio’s fourth annual retreat, conducted on the autumn equinox, as summer fades away. Spending a few days away from the grid, and coordinated around a theme, each member receives a package of supplies to assist in the activities.
Slingers
Slingers, the newest malt liquor beverage from Boston Beer Company, is a cocktail in a can that packs a devious punch. At 24 oz, with 8% alcohol and three delicious flavors, Slingers is the quick and easy gas station pickup that seeks to own the convenience store market and summertime party scene.
GILLA
GILLA creates a non-toxic, everyday disinfectant that kills germs, not the planet. Their mission is a healthier world, achieved through sustainable practices, morals over profits, and killing harmful germs. In a category where consumers have to choose between being good for the environment or good for killing germs, GILLA achieves both.
Genexa
Genexa is a pharmaceutical company whose products are made with the same active ingredients you need, but without the artificial ones you don’t. In order to highlight this, we paired their medicines with those components which might even do your body a little good: sprigs of lavender, blueberries, sunflower seeds, and slices of orange.
Supercluster X Pioneer Works
We designed, illustrated, and produced a set of playing cards which serve as a guide to exoplanets found across space, time, and imagination. While face cards represent speculative planets, numbered cards are ordered according to ascending distance from earth. Evoking what stepping foot on one of these faraway planets might be like, we designed and built a custom environment with a hazy atmosphere and rivers of acid.
IJW Whiskey
IJW is set to be the next big name in spirits — even though you might not know it. In order to capture what goes into building a behemoth, we went down to Kentucky to shoot their facilities in Louisville and Danville. Capturing not only those structures and their grounds, but each step of the process, enabled us to provide a glimpse of distillation, storage, and tapping a cask. Needless to say, our taste buds were satiated.
adidas Bad Bunny
Inspired by the all black shoes required with school uniforms, the creative direction of the event manifested as a custom-designed Bad Bunny school bus. We held court in The Bronx on a sunny afternoon with a chalkboard, one hundred pairs of sneakers, and proceeded to document it.
Members of the Rage
We’ve been fortunate enough to delve into the mind of Scott Mescudi on a few projects, and Members of the Rage is just one facet of the burgeoning Kid Cudi empire. With a nod to his musical and aesthetic influences, we shot both the products as well as the scenery around us in Downtown Manhattan, which were overlaid with effects to achieve a saturated yet washed out feel.
A24 Films
As part of a longtime collaboration with A24, we shot a number of products as well as some props from their film Uncut Gems. Simple and direct, these images were displayed on their website.
We photographed a number of products for their store, as well as props from movies such as Midsommar, Uncut Gems, Hereditary, and many more for their online auction house.
adidas Valentine's Day
Working closely with adidas on their 2022 Valentine’s Day theme, we executed the creative direction to Practice Love across the campaign. Here, we combined the products with classic Valentine’s Day treats in order to achieve a playful yet intimate effect.
Cheers
Cheers creates a smarter way to have good times by mitigating alcohol’s negative effects. To compliment our Art Direction and Identity for them, we photographed the products amongst displays of their contents, ingredients, as well as why you’re taking them in the first place.
adidas Star Wars
Blending the worlds of sport with the iconic visual language of the Star Wars universe, we chose to reference interfaces that were related to each category and wove them into a cohesive system. Product photography was combined with animations of characters, athletes, and graphics. Illustrations were shot on an old video monitor to achieve the effect of the displays used on the spaceships themselves.
adidas Campus 80s
Makerlab gives creators unprecedented access to adidas’ tools, process, talent, and infrastructure in an effort to collaborate and explore like never before. Collaborating with adidas throughout the process, on display here is the product and even photography portion, which integrated our identity and campaign direction in both the two and three-dimensional realms.
NPR Podcasts
NPR is the authority in news, history and broadcast entertainment and NPR Podcasts acts as the perfect sonic arm to extend that reach. In our rebrand of NPR Podcasts, the assets were built out with a number of different image options. For the photography, we composed still lifes for both animations and static imagery, which are shown here.
Second Sight
Second Sight was born from the need to reconnect a womenswear designer with her customers. Implementing our identity and positioning across the brand, what’s presented here is the collateral material. Additionally, we established photography direction guidelines, which have since been utilized.
Supercluster: A Trip Through The Universe
Supercluster worked with Zane Kesey to create this humble entry to the canon of cosmic blotter. Using a set of melt-worthy shapes and colors, we picked up the texture of both the paper and the printing ink, resulting in a saturated yet intimate scale.
GrandArmy Holiday Gift 2020
To close off a year of planetary upheaval, we cast a spell to ward off the darkness. Team members, clients, and close friends were provided with a kit consisting of a bundle of sage, an ashtray, and a box of matches. Needless to say, we feel it helped us enter 2021 in a stronger state.
